MICHELIN Performance Made To Last

IT’S ESSENTIAL TO EXTEND THE LIFESPAN OF TYRES

Producing tyres today still consumes quite a bit of energy and raw materials.
If tyres were used until their legal tread limit*, 128 million tons of tyres could be spared every year in Europe.
That’s a saving of 6,9 billion euros, and 6,6 million tons of CO2 that aren’t rejected back into the atmosphere**.

At MICHELIN, we’ve always made it our mission to make tyres that are perform and remain safe, in spite of the distance travelled. A guiding principle that we apply to all of our tyres: for cars, bikes, motorcycles, trucks, planes, etc.

MICHELIN HAS BEEN FIGHTING TO MAKE TESTING WORN TYRES THE NORM
MICHELIN has long been committed to make performance tests on worn tyres compulsory. Because life happens on worn tyres, we are continuously working to make our tyres perform throughout their entire life span.
